“Baroness Lili” in Los Angeles, CA

The Sandor Szoboszlai Hungarian Theatre of Southern California presented the musical comedy entitled “Baroness Lili”, directed by Peter Pankotay, with the honorary patronage of the Consulate of Hungary in Los Angeles.

The comedy was performed on April 18, 2015, by local Hungarian actors and actresses, most of them born in the United States. It was a full house at The Nine O’ Clock Players Theater.

The Southern California audience enjoyed the light humor of Pest.

After the piece, Laszlo Kalman, Consul General, gave a welcome speech to the audience and he stated that the Sandor Szoboszlai Hungarian Theatre of Southern California leads in “Home of the Heights”. It plays a major role in the preservation of the Hungarian language and culture.

The Hungarian Consul General gave Certificates to the actresses Timea Antal and Lilla Horvath, and to the actor Csaba Hrotko.
