Patriots Beat Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX

The New England Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday night at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

The Pete Carroll-led Seahawks and Bill Belichick-coached Patriots were tied at the half, but the Seahawks scored 10 unanswered points in the third quarter to enter the final frame leading 24-14. But the Pats answered with two touchdowns in the fourth to reclaim the lead, 28-24, and two plays near the end of the game clinched it for New England.
